Memorable Moments: Past tense verbs
Holly's Memorable Moment
When I met my husband and learned he was from Argentina I wanted to learn more about his culture. We decided to travel to Buenos Aires to meet his family. I had been studying Spanish already in school and thought that I would communicate reasonably well. However, while I was trying to talk to his family I realized that I could not communicate in Spanish at all. The Argentine dialect was too different from what I had studied. This was the moment I had decided to begin studying Spanish again and I returned to school.
